Since this new Kirby game just came out, and the other topic is at least 2 months old, why not discuss it?

So..any of you people play it yet?

Yes, and I like it.
I'm currently doing Arena. And I realize I suck at it.
But really, I like this game. Great music, and every power has 4-5 attacks, as opposed to 1.

What ability are you using for arena? Some are much better than others for it.

What are considered the best are plasma, stone and hammer. The easiest in my opinion is the stone, due to the massive invulnerability you have with attacking, while plasma is better for sniping the bosses from the other side of the arena.

I just have problems in the True Arena...Damn you Marx Soul

I mostly always use Sword for everything when given the chance. I might try with Hammer tough. I've already seen it packs a mean Up+B.

About True Arena: is the Final Boss from Metaknights story there, too? The Metaknight-with-lance-and-being-white guy. He dropped stars with attacks, so I assume he's meant to fight Kirby at some point.

Yea, the Uber-Pink-Meta Knight like boss is the second to last boss; the final boss is something that players of the original will either smile at, or cry at because of its randomness.

Oh, and the new modes are godly.

The main reason are the revamped bosses, upgraded bosses, and additional bosses.

@Boil - Which boss normally screws you up? That may help in giving hints.

Ah, none in particular. I just get hit onc at that one boss, just like normal games. Then I go to the next, get hit twice more. Then I think the next will be easy, and he kills me.

Totally random every time.

I shant be playing it.. actually.. I wont be buying it. I'm selling my DS, but I'll try it on a friends DS. I'm.. mildly excited.

I got it today, and I'm now done the game. It's pathetic. It's boring, and the only reason I'm keeping it is because I love Meta Knight. It's essentially a series of crappy mini games being sold as one big game.

Want proof? I beat four of the "games" in under fifteen minutes, and it only took three minutes for the first one.

I'm really disappointed. I thought I was getting a Kirby game like Knightmare in Dreamland, but all I ended up buying was a useless series of mini games with some bad 3-D cutscenes.

and the TRUE arena

the best power I found to work was the mirror. I use to think it was bad, but then i found out that if you hold the r or l button gives you a shield. It can protect you from mos, keyword most, of their attacks.

In the true arena you need it to protect you from wam bam jewle's attack when he tries to pound you into the ground. As well as that you need themirror ability's to deflect galacta knight's shield and when he shoots sword beams to hurt him. The mirror ability also works on some of soul marx's attacks.

@Doom^2 - It's easier to just use stone and wait out attacks, and crush them when you get the chance; the mirror has a very nice shield however, but it's not impervious, unlike stone form.
