What this is: - ACESpark - 02-05-2012

This is a new start for the forum. Any past history with the old forum is being forgotten. As in, I no longer care about the old forum.
This technically means any banned members may rejoin freely, altough I doubt anyone in this situation would given the choice.

For now, many many forums have been cut... mostly because they're pointless with such a small memberbase.
So, General Chat may actually get some use now! Video Games, and Entertainment are keeping their seperate forums.

If and when the time comes for an expansion, I'll expand it.
Till then, I don't think the additional forums will be needed.
If you feel a specific forum should still exist, then ask. I'll consider it.

Creative Corner:
This used to be an awesome section. Providing we can rain in our sharp tongues just a little, it still can be. Most of us are at least experienced in Spriting now, so we can still help there.
Tough love is fine. But we all used to suck, badly.

Smeghead:
This is staying simply because.

Sprites INC Discussion:
This is staying because it has to.

Forums we should have:
Site Talk - It did have a purpose unless you want all talk about the site under News

Writings/Ideas - People do write and most ideas are pretty much write-ups, kill 2 birds with a rock by combining those 2 sections.

RE: What this is: - type-blues.exe - 06-05-2012

I second the notion of the ideas section in creative corner, although I think we should keep the writings section separate. At times the ideas section can just be rough dot points that need fleshing out, and at times the creative writing section can be full-scale Tolkien level prose (lol who am I kidding), so unless we want people to put an [idea] or a [writing] tag in every thread there, I think we should keep them separate. For now, anyway.
I'm all for site talk as well, so that people have a place to post bug reports as well. We can't just keep everything under the submissions sub forum.
Also, I'm all for a music section either in the creative corner, general discussion, or both. Talk about bands here, or possible aspiring mixers and musicians can post their stuff here for review.

RE: What this is: - ACESpark - 06-05-2012

I've stuck a "everything else" in Creative corner. That should cover the rare fanfictions/music we get. I'll add prefixes to that forum as well.

I like prefixes, they're fun.

So Ranks are out then?

RE: What this is: - ACESpark - 06-05-2012

They don't really want to work at all. I may be modifying the Stars into the ranks, maybe.

RE: What this is: - Smurf-Killer Squee - 06-05-2012

It would be nice to have an RP section. For what it's worth.

RE: What this is: - The Walrus - 06-05-2012

Maybe fixed-width option for the theme? It's a little too wide for modern displays on full screen.

Things. Terrible things. And Zyros.

RE: What this is: - Sagat the Tiger - 14-05-2012

So after reading the first post, does this mean that if we have any questions (ones that might not be topic related), can they be posted in the General Chat then?

RE: What this is: - The Walrus - 14-05-2012

Pretty sure the thread is still there on the original forum. It's in the smeghead section somewhere
