The program requires the image to be in bmp format, and the size of the image to be a multiplier of the final size of the tile, (16x16 is usual). Maps from VGMaps may contain some junk in the final tiles, so you'll just have to edit those out.

Provided the map is in BMP format and the height and width is a multiplier of 16, it should just extract the images into what-ever format you could need. Use these settings:

Please never give up on this! The sprites you've showcased so far are really well made and definitely encompass that 'Wily Wars' look. I'm not a programmer and I probably won't be for a while but I'm sure that if you hold on long enough, you'll eventually find someone willing to program all this for you.

Best of luck and I really hope this fan-game will come into fruition.

If he did he could base them off of a diffeent style and go off of some sort of mythology or maybe go even more obscure and base them off of some random minneral or element like a genie,dragon, copper or uranium i know probably a bad idea but hay its an idea

Thanks! I'm picking back up on it, I just need to finish Blizzard Man and all the robot masters will be done.
