Program That Can Rip SNES Instruments
So recently, I got FL Studio back (As it turns out, re-registering it was easier than I thought.) and I wanted to compose some SNES-Styled songs...there's just one little problem, though:

I have nothing to rip SNES instruments with.Sad

In the past, I used to use SPCTool; it was handy, but was prone to crashing when trying to play samples that looped. I don't wanna waste two hours trying to locate that dinosaur of a program through Google, so to anyone who's ripped SNES Instruments before, what's a good program that can rip instrument samples from .SPC files?

Thanks in advance, dudes. MM - Yeeaaahhh!

She started chasin' that Purple Dragon...not me, cuz I'm a purple dragon; I'm talking about Heroin...

C700 can rip .BRR files from SPCs. It's a VSTi plugin so it can run with FL Studio.

There are some tutorials on how to use the program floating around on SMW Central. Search for them and check it out.

I just read the tutorial on how to use that program, and dear god...my brain hurts.MM - Ill I mean, there's so many steps you have to go through just to aquire one sample in an .SPC file. Not to mention it requires an external program (SPC700 Player) to locate the sample number!MM - Derp

Anyone else got a instrument ripping program-an easy-to-use one?

If you want something that is "easy-to-use", solo the channel and rip samples using Audacity.

The best tools are often more difficult to use.

1: Get assets and program
2: Smash the two together until stuff happens
3: Beat your face into your keyboard when stuff breaks/doesn't want to work
4: Continue beating your face into your keyboard until you've smashed the right code
5: Rejoice that it works and move on to the next thing
6: Go back to Step 2 and repeat
