I know there's alerady a "Mega Man Z", but how about this MEGA MAN Z!!!

You should add this to the list, just because everyone needs to know this exists.

EDIT: Here's an in-depth analysis that Smedis2 made on this "fan game": http://sprites-inc.co.uk/showthread.php?...9#pid24329

That entire intro just hurts all of my senses.

Same, I just played it for a bit, and there was quite a bit of programming errors, and the story probably would have worked better as a alternate story since it clashes with Canon, and also the RMs are recolors with very few edits.

List updated! There are a couple other new games on there since the last announced update, too. I plan to sit down and do another sweep for new fangames soon, and it might not hurt to spot-check the list to see if links are still working and in-development games have a demo yet.

No matter where you go, there you are.

Hey Flashman, there is another project of interest, and seems to have been lost to time, but hopefully someone has this-

megaman the calamix power fighters (v4), but the full version of v4 appears to be missing as only the demo seems to be floating around, but the demo does have all characters working, but in the full version I think there was supposed to be more things.

It was part of the Mugen Fighter scene, and had a lot of custom MM7 designs for most RMs.

I've seen a few fangame lists around the Internet, but they're generally incomplete and outdated. Here's what I've got:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mqGC...VLjqBzVjC8

Right now, the list only covers standalone downloads and Flash games, NOT ROM hacks. That's a can of Scworms I'm not ready to open yet. I'm also excluding games that only play like Mega Man, or otherwise have nothing to do with the plot or characters of the franchise; I'm interested in games that could pass for a prequel, interquel, sequel, spinoff, or crossover. Furthermore, I'm trying to leave off unfinished games unless someone is actively working on them (ie, unless there's been a progress update in the last year or so), but I'm not opposed to listing something that's been abandoned but is sufficiently playable from start to finish.

(EDIT: In the interest of making the list as complete as possible, demos and unfinished games in any state of development are completely acceptable, as long as a playable version is available.)

If you know of any games I've overlooked that fit my criteria, or if you have more recent links to the games than I've provided, please let me know! This helps me, and hopefully it's helpful to the community as well.

Oh My God !!
You forgot Megaman Fusion !
I am the owner of this game (MegaManFusion) !!!

Calm yourself. Do you see how many fangames are on the list already? There's way too many to properly keep track of. It's not like not including it is sacrilge, or anything personally against you. We just didn't know about it.

Thanks for the contributions! I've added everything to the list except Zero 5—I need either a download link or a project page I can check for updates, and I can't seem to locate either. I'll keep an eye out for a full version of Calamix Power Fighters; I found a few promising leads, but all the download links are dead.

This is the biggest update I've made to the list in a while, too; I've gotten a few suggestions by e-mail and went digging for any new games around the INC forums. Take a peek; maybe you'll find something new!

No matter where you go, there you are.

Mega Man 11, and currently there is no Demo.

The same guy doing the MM11 project, I think this may just be a engine, but looks like he has something planned for a MMX game.

I hate to break it to you, but I think that stuff might have been stolen for the MM11 project. I recognize "Glacial Man" from Barel Barel's Pixiv account.

Oh hey I recognize some of those sprites... that Fish Man is a blatant edit of an enemy from Christmas Carol. :/

Uh oh, but least it has been made aware though for the owners.

I've added a few more games to the list (mostly from the X series, mostly not playable yet), including another Elf Wars, Mavericks Fury, Isolation, and, of course, OH JOES!

But is there a dedicated project page I can follow for updates? My policy is not to add anything to the list unless there's a specific page where a download link will eventually be posted; there's no guarantee of that with YouTube videos, unfortunately.

No matter where you go, there you are.

That's fine, the post was made as a awareness of it if it gets added or not. Just extra things to keep in mind.

RE: A Comprehensive List of Mega Man Fangames (With Links)
Since today is Megaman's 29th anniversary i've decided to "revive" one of the "gems" that Yoyo games had to offer.
Here's my second biggest contribution to the forum since Mega Man Z (not counting the playthroughs on my channel).
This is Mega Man Final 3 - The Legacy Lives On (and it has nothing to do with Mega Man F).
MMFinal 3 is the third and last installment of the Mega Man Final Saga, and it was made by Dominik Wetter / Kacirek_Donald (Turquoise Star) around 2005 (the same year as MM Paradise and Ultimate MM).
You can see it in it's "full greatness" thanks to Dark Toirtlez (Here's his YT channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJNqfi7...HZQ/videos) who played it from start to finish. Here's the intro stage:

RE: A Comprehensive List of Mega Man Fangames (With Links)
I've added X++ and Final 3. Anyone have a link to Final 1 and 2 so I can add them as well?

I'd like to ask that any new additions to the list come with a link to the project/download page, or at least a YouTube video or something I can use to track the game down. Game names are a good start, but it's tremendously helpful if you can tell me how you found out about the game. Thank you to everyone who's been doing this already!

No matter where you go, there you are.
